Wrote and directed with Shelley Morhaim, the award winning film, “The Next Industrial Revolution” about the work of architect Bill McDonough and chemist Michael Braungart to design an industrial economy that works with Nature. This film is at the heart of a sustainability revolution with corporations around the world.
Founded and ran a strategic communications and education company with a staff of 14 that produced film, video, and education programs for 22 national unions, 4 regional union coalitions, 12 local unions + four national environmental groups + two social welfare groups. Revenue $1+ million annually.
Created an award winning PBS television series entitled “Inside Your Schools” with Steve Allen as host to promote excellence and reform in public education.
Produced a videotape – “Out of Control” (narrated by Ralph Nader) – and a strategic media campaign on the dangers of using temporary maintenance workers in the petrochemical industry that created 2,000+ new union maintenance jobs.
Created a videotape organizing/outreach program that raised $7-8 million annually to fight the incursion of non-union construction workers into Northern California.
Created “Above the Law” – a videotape that turned back a coordinated anti-union campaign by five Las Vegas, Nevada casinos.
Produced a set of 35mm television commercials and accompanying radio commercials for the United Association’s UNION YES! Campaign.
Created over 100 films and videotapes as an advocacy filmmaker winning over three dozen major awards for excellence in the process.
